Thanks for checking out my website. I'm Richard, maker, designer, owner of the Stripey fox.

I spent much of the last 20 years working in Theatre. working my way up from stagehand to Production manager. Building scenery for the stage then managing the teams doing the building. I have always been hands on and wanting to make.

the Stripey Fox was born in 2020 in my garden workshop as a way to satisfy my creative itch.

 

the business has grown steadily over the last 3 years, which has enabled me to take on a much larger workspace.

The extra space has allowed me to take on ever larger commissions whilst allowing the space for me to design my own pieces which i exhibit at Craft shows around the country.

The furniture i create draws from many influences and is ever changing. i love to create but also enjoy the collaborative process of designing commissioned pieces to fit the needs and wants of the client.
