Commissioning a piece of work can feel daunting and expensive. At the Stripey Fox Workshop I try to make the process of creating a bespoke piece as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Designing for a client is a two way process. I mix your style ideas and functional needs with my knowledge of woods and design to create a beautiful piece that will last a life time.

"We asked Rich to create a small side table for us and are absolutely delighted with the result! From the initial design ideas Rich gave us, to the finished product, we couldn’t have been happier with the process. I would without hesitation highly recommend The Stripey Fox!" Angela p

 Walnut Coffee Table
Possibly one of my favourite pieces to date! This table was a birthday gift from husband to wife. made entirely from American Black Walnut with a polished brass inlay to the top, this piece pushed me to ensure the fit and finish was flawless.
Handcut joinery holds the whole thing together with not a piece of hardware in sight.
finished with a hard wax oil the piece sits beautifully against the sage green walls of the living room it now resides in.
